Warwickshire Police is appealing for witnesses or information following an assault in Leamington yesterday morning (Wednesday 27 May).
At around 11.20am, a man in his twenties was assaulted on Sydenham Drive by two men. It’s reported they were holding a baseball bat.
It’s believed the suspects then met with another man, and drove off in a blue vehicle.
The victim sustained injuries to his head and ribs, and was taken to hospital by ambulance where he is receiving treatment.
A road closure was in place whilst emergency services were in attendance.
If anyone witnessed the offence or has any information, please call Warwickshire Police on 101, quoting incident number 125 of 27 May 2020.
