Police have today confirmed that the female driver who was involved in a serious collision at 07.20 hours yesterday morning, Monday 2 March 2020 on Wishaw Lane, Curdworth has died.
Police, fire and ambulance including the air ambulance attended the scene of the collision between two cars, a Peugeot and a Ford Kuga.
The female driver of the Peugeot suffered serious injuries and was taken to Queen Elizabeth Hospital by land ambulance for further assessment and treatment. Unfortunately nothing could be done to save her and she died due to her injuries.
Initial reports indicate the male driver of the Ford suffered minor injuries.
