We are continuing to appeal for witnesses to an assault that took place in Leamington on Saturday (14 March).
The incident is reported to have happened inside McDonald’s on Queensway at around 4.50am.
An altercation took place that resulted in a man in his 30s suffering facial injuries, which are not believed to be life-threatening at this time.
A 27-year-old man from Coventry was arrested on suspicion of assault. He has been released under investigation while enquiries continue.
Detective Sergeant Pete Sherwood: “We believe this to be an isolated incident but as part of our ongoing enquiries we’d like anyone who saw the incident or was in the area to come forward.
"Any information, no matter how small, could be significant to our investigation.”
