Officers are appealing for witnesses to an unprovoked assault in Brownsover.
The incident took place on the footpath between Mill Road and Crowthorns Road sometime between 6.30pm and 9pm on Sunday (1 March).
A man is his 40s was walking along when he was assaulted.
The victim suffered facial, arm and chest injuries, which are not believed to be life-threatening. He remains in hospital at this time.
Enquiries are currently ongoing and we’re keen to speak to anyone who has information or may have been in the area at the time of the incident.
