A teenage boy has been arrested on suspicion of drugs offences in Rugby, following an incident on Friday morning (19 June).
At around 11.40am, officers witnessed a suspected drug deal in an alleyway behind Victoria Street.
A package of suspected class A drugs, cash and a mobile phone were seized, and when a nearby address was searched, further cash and a knife was recovered.
A 16-year-old boy from Nottingham was arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of drugs. He has been released on bail whilst enquiries are ongoing.
