Two people have been arrested on suspicion of drugs offences in Bedworth.
Officers from Nuneaton Proactive CID team, Bedworth’s Safer Neighbourhood Team (SNT) and the force’s Tactical Support Team executed search warrants at two properties in Lydgate Court this morning (Friday).
A quantity of white powder – suspected to be Class A drugs – and a quantity of what is believed to be cannabis was seized.
A 16-year-old boy from Bedworth and a 45-year-old woman from Bedworth were arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply drugs – class A. They have been released under investigation pending further enquiries.
