Officers are appealing for witnesses to a serious assault in Burton Green.
The incident took place on a disused railway line near to Cromwell Lane at around 10.30pm on Friday (26 June).
A man is his 40s was cycling along the path when he went past a man who was walking his dog.
The man challenged him and there was a verbal dispute before the victim was pushed off his bike and assaulted.
He suffered multiple broken bones and was taken to hospital where he remains at this time in a stable condition.
A 48-year-old man from Kenilworth has been arrested on suspicion of assault GBH. He has been bailed until 26 July.
Enquiries are ongoing and we’re keen to speak to anyone who witnessed the altercation. Anyone with information is asked to call DS Jenny Baker on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111 quoting incident number 610 of 26 June.
