The 19-year-old from Coventry was arrested on suspicion of making a bomb hoax on Sunday (2 August) as part of investigation led by Warwickshire Police.
The hoax threat was made towards a business in Shires Retail Park, Tachbrook Park Drive, Leamington on Friday (31 July). It led to officers putting a cordon in place around the site while a search was conducted.
The man has been released under investigation while enquiries continue.
Anyone with information that could help police with their investigation should call 101 quoting incident 154 of 31 July 2020. Alternatively, information can be provided anonymously to the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
