Warwickshire Police is appealing for witnesses or information following a serious assault in Leamington last night (Sunday 12 July).
At around 11.45pm, a man was found with serious facial injuries in the town. These are believed to have been caused by a knife in an alleyway near to Avenue Road.
The man, aged in his 30s, was taken to hospital for treatment. His injuries have required surgery.
The suspects are described as two men – one was white, around 5’11” of a slim build, and the other is believed to be a black male.
This is currently being treated as an isolated incident.
If anyone witnessed the offence or any suspicious behaviour in the area, please call Warwickshire Police on 101 quoting incident number 496 of 12 July 2020.
