Emergency services have been in attendance on Stephen Street, Rugby, following an incident earlier this afternoon (Sunday 5 July).
Police were called shortly before 2.40pm to a report of an assault inside a property.
A man in his 70s was taken to hospital with serious injuries, where he is currently receiving treatment.
A 40-year-old woman, a 43-year-old woman and a 45-year-old man have all been arrested on suspicion of assault GBH. They are currently in police custody.
Investigating officer, Detective Sergeant Mark Robertson from Warwickshire Police said: “A number of enquiries are ongoing, and this is currently being treated as an isolated incident.
“If anyone has any information which could assist with the investigation, please call Warwickshire Police on 101 quoting incident number 285 of 5 July 2020.”
