Man arrested in connection with series of rapes

A 55 year old man from Cornwall was yesterday (Wednesday 22 January) arrested on suspicion of a series of rapes that took place between June 1996 and September 1998 in Nuneaton and the West Midlands.
The arrest was carried out by officers from Devon and Cornwall Police on behalf of Warwickshire Police.
The man currently remains in custody.
