A 38-year-old man of no fixed abode was arrested after a PCSO was assaulted in Waterside, Stratford-upon-Avon.
The incident occurred at around 6.50pm yesterday (Wednesday 19 February) near to the Royal Shakespeare Theatre.
Police responded following a report of a man being verbally abusive. The man allegedly pushed the PCSO as she attempted to talk to him. She was not injured in the incident.
Following his arrest, officers searched the man at the scene and seized a small lock knife. A further search in custody led to two more small lock knives being seized.
The man was arrested on suspicion of a committing a public order offence, assaulting an emergency worker, and possession of offensive weapons. He is currently in custody.
