A man has been arrested and charged with causing grievous bodily harm following an alleged attack in Rugby.
It follows an incident at a property in Railway Terrace in the early hours of yesterday (Tuesday 1 December) morning.
A man in his 30s was taken to hospital with burns to his face, neck and shoulders following the incident. He remains in hospital where his injuries are described as life changing.
John Biggs, 50, of Railway Terrace, Rugby will appear at Coventry Magistrates’ Court today in connection with the incident.
