Man charged following alleged moped incidents in Nuneaton

Officers investigating a spate of alleged offences committed by a group on mopeds in Nuneaton have charged a man with assault and theft from a motor vehicle.
It is alleged that on 10 November Lewis Parkes, 19, of Poyser Road, Nuneaton stole a purse from a car in Lutterworth Road, Nuneaton before assaulting a man in Bucks Hill.
Parkes was arrested a short time later in Brights Road, Nuneaton.
He will appear at Warwickshire Magistrates’ Court on 8 January.
