Officers are appealing for witnesses to an unprovoked assault in Rugby.
The incident took place outside a block on flats on Coton Road at around 3.30pm on Monday 7 December.
A man is his 40s has recently got off the bus and was walking along the street when he was approached by two men who assaulted him.
The victim suffered facial and leg injuries, which are not believed to be life-threatening at this time.
Enquiries are currently ongoing and we’re keen to speak to anyone who has information or may have been in the area at the time of the incident.
