Warwickshire Police is appealing for information following a wounding in Rugby yesterday (Monday 7 December).
Shortly before 1pm, police were called by the ambulance service to an incident on Lower Hillmorton Road.
A man in his early twenties sustained a suspected stab wound to his chest. He was taking to hospital by ambulance, his injuries were not life-threatening.
The suspects are described as:
- A white male, wearing glasses, around 6' 1", of a slim build, wearing a face covering or balaclava.
- A white male, approx 5' 8", of a slim build, wearing a face covering or balaclava.
- A white male.
Investigating officer, Det Sgt Mark Robertson from Warwickshire Police said: “We’re appealing for any witnesses or information to this offence, which has left a young man in hospital.
“This is currently being treated as an isolated incident, and a number of enquiries are underway to locate those responsible. If anyone has any information, please come forward.”
Anyone who witnessed the incident or has any information is asked to call Warwickshire Police on 101, quoting incident number 150 of 7 December.
