A stolen car has been recovered from Leamington.
The vehicle was reported as stolen from Coventry on Sunday (16 August) and was found in Leamington at around 9pm last night (Monday 17 August) by officers from the Southern Vehicle Crime Team who were on patrol on pushbikes.
The officers are using bikes to in a bid to proactively tackle offences of vehicle crime in and around Leamington and were on targeted patrols at the time of the vehicle being found.
A 43 year-old man from Coventry was arrested on suspicion of taking a motor vehicle without consent (TWOC). He has been interviewed and released under investigation whilst enquiries are ongoing.
