Incident 215 of 2 November 2019
Warwickshire Police are renewing an appealing for witnesses to a collision in Ansley Common, Nuneaton, on Saturday 2 November. As a result of the collision, eleven year old Harley James Jackson died.
The incident occurred at around 2.40pm, police received reports that a child on a bike had been in collision with a car in Coleshill Road, Ansley Common near Nuneaton The child was taken by ambulance to University Hospital Coventry, where he was sadly pronounced deceased.
A spokesperson for the Warwickshire Police Serious Collision Investigation Unit said: “This is a tragic incident and we’re appealing to anyone who was in the vicinity at or around the time who have may have seen either a grey Ford Focus or children on pedal cycles to make contact”
“Our thoughts remain with the boy’s family at this time.”
The family of Harley James Jackson who are being supported by a Family Liaison Officer issued the following tribute.
