Three people have been arrested after a teenage girl was left with head, face and leg injuries following an incident in Nuneaton.
It was reported the girl was assaulted by a group of people during the incident near The Dingles at around 6.20pm yesterday (Sunday 29 December).
An investigation was launched with witnesses urged to come forward.
A 34-year-old man, 13-year-old girl and 14-year-old girl, all from Nuneaton, have been arrested on suspicion of assault.
The victim was checked over by paramedics but did not require hospital treatment.
Sergeant Adam Skelsey from the Nuneaton Safer Neighbourhood Team said: “A report was received at 6.23pm that a teenage girl had been assaulted by a group in The Dingles.
“At this time we believe the victim and suspects were known to each other and this incident was part of an ongoing dispute.”
