Incident 261 of 3 December 2019
Officers arrested a 55 year old man from Rugby on suspicion of drink driving after members of the public alerted Warwickshire Police to a vehicle they believed was being driven erratically on the A426 near The Avon Mill at 3.25pm on Tuesday 3 December.
Officers arrived to find a grey Ford van had been in collision with a stationary vehicle. Fortunately no one was injured in the collision.
A 55 year old man was arrested on suspicion of driving a motor vehicle when alcohol level is above the limit.
Officers would like to thank the public for their assistance in alerting them to a suspected drink driver and for their help at the scene of the collision.
