Work with us
Warwickshire is a safe place to live and crime figures remain low. However, we can all play a part in reducing crime even further. There are a wide range of opportunities available within Warwickshire for people who want to contribute to their local community by making it a safer place to live.
• becoming a Special Constable
• taking up a Police Support Volunteer role
• joining a cadet scheme (16 to18-year-olds)
• getting involved in a neighbourhood watch scheme, or
• applying for a permanent role within the force.
Special Constables, Police Support Volunteers, Cadets and neighbourhood watch members are recruited from people living across Warwickshire: you can join to help police the streets in your community.
In return, you can expect to receive a great deal of support from Warwickshire Police, as well as the opportunities to learn new skills and make new friends.
You can 'get involved' in other ways too without having to take up a voluntary role. Use the community forum process to tell us about local issues and concerns, follow simple crime prevention advice to reduce your risk of becoming a victim of crime, or you could join in one of our online web chats to talk about policing issues.
