Police Victim Right to Review Scheme (VRR)

From 1st April 2015 victims of crime will be able to request a review of any decisions made by the police not to bring proceedings in cases where the police have authority to charge or where they have made the decision to not refer your case to CPS for a charging decision.

As a victim you will be advised of the VRR scheme when you are notified of the decision by the police.

You will be able to request a review of the decision in writing to The Victim and Witness Service Centre, Warwickshire Police and West Mercia Police, Malvern Police Station, Victoria Road, Malvern, Worcestershire, WR14 2TE or via e-mail to WitnessCareSouth@westmercia.pnn.police.uk.  Please note the request to review the decision must be received within 3 months of you being given the decision.
