Police appeal after assault in Nuneaton

Police are appealing for witnesses after an assault in Nuneaton.

Warwickshire Police were called to St George's Way at 8.50pm yesterday (Monday 29 July) after a report a man in his 20s and a four year old girl had been assaulted while they were in a car.

The two victims suffered minor injuries in the incident.

At this time, police believe the victims and the offenders were known to each other.

Anyone in the area at the time, or who was driving through and may have dash cam footage, should contact police on 101 quoting incident 424 of 29 July 2019. Alternatively, information can be provided anonymously to the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
