Last night (30th June/1st July) unknown offender(s) have entered a rural location in Avon Dassett and stolen a female Rhea bird (please see picture - not of actual bird taken) and killed a male bird. Rheas are large flightless birds similar to an emu or ostrich. Fourteen chicks have also been taken recently.
