Students will then spend ten weeks meeting and receiving inputs from many different departments, there is no home work or course work, we simply ask that students engage and participate in the sessions with open and inquisitive mind.

This is a great opportunity for anyone who want to get to know more about there local Police Force about how and why we Police in the way that we do. At the end of the course you graduate at ceremony which should be attended by our Chief Constable Martin Jelley and Police and Crime Commissioner Phillip Seccombe.

Our volunteers Nicole completed the Citizens Academy last year and said it was "an eye-opening and gives you background knowledge to a public service that we all rely on to keep us safe."
