Warwickshire Police appeals for help in tracing owner of dog that attacked another dog and its owner in Sorrell Road, Nuneaton

Police are appealing to trace the owner of a dog that attacked another dog and its owner in Warwickshire.

The incident took place in Sorrell Road, Nuneaton, at around 7.00pm on Monday (27 May) when the dog - a dark brown Staffordshire bull terrier - was out with its owner.

The dog attacked another dog and its owner when they were out walking.

The owner - a man in his 50s - suffered an injury to his hand as he tried to protect his dog.

His dog required veterinary treatment.

The owner of the offending dog is described as being a white male in his late teens with blond hair, and of skinny build.

He was walking two dark brown Staffordshire bull terriers.

Anyone with information that could help officers identify the owner is asked to call 101 quoting incident 60 of 27 May 2019. Alternatively, information can be provided anonymously to the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
