This is our latest weekly report and prompt to see if you have any questions, suggestions or concerns for the Alcester Police South SNT. Thank you to those that have contacted us this week.

Incidents of A public interest from the last week:-


  • *Suspicious Circumstances. Evesham Street, Alcester. Male seen looking through fence of house. Caller concerned that he was not from the area and was up to no good. Man described as white, 6', short brown hair and beard, wearing grey tracksuit bottoms and a blue top. Area search of the area made by the police - no trace. No offences disclosed at the time. 9.20am Sunday 19th May. 0094 19/05/2019

  • *Theft. Shop, Alcester Town. Items stolen by two males from shop by way of shoplifting. First man - White, 6', 40's, black hair with side parting, wearing black top, black trousers and black trainers. Second man - White, 5' 10", light brown hair with "buzz cut", wearing a blue jumper, black trousers and black trainers. Both men left the shop and walked towards the tennis courts in Moorfields Road. 6.15pm Thursday 16th May. 0283 17/05/2019

  • *Burglary Residential. Evesham Street, Alcester. Offender(s) have gained entry to secure house through rear door. Vehicle keys and mobile phone stolen. 1am Friday 17th May. 0017 17/05/2019

  • *Assault. St Nicholas Close, Alcester. A male at an address in the Close was assaulted and received injuries to his face, possibly caused by a weapon. Enquiries ongoing to establish further information and description of offender(s). 1.15pm Monday 13th May. 0183 13/05/2019

  • *Burglary Residential. Jubilee Court, Alcester. Secure garden shed broken into and items stolen including a bench saw and a wood saw. Overnight 12th & 13th May. 0150 13/05/2019

  • *Burglary Business. Hopkins Precinct, Alcester. Secure business broken into and Charity Box stolen from inside. Overnight 12th & 13th May. 0124 13/05/2019


  • *Theft. Private fields, Shelfield. Several wheels stolen off trailers that were in the field. Stolen over the last month. 0214 16/05/2019


  • *Common Assault. "Middle Row" Grafton Lane, Bidford. Location popular with dog walkers. Caller approached and surrounded by four men. They initially said they were looking for their dog but then asked if the caller had a mobile phone. When an answer was declined the men kicked the callers dog and pushed them backwards onto a nearby bench. No injuries were caused. The four men then got into a Black Subaru parked nearby and drove off. The last three letters of the registration number was similar to 'GBW'. Two of the men were wearing jeans and black tops. 5pm Friday 17th May. 0324 17/05/2019


  • *Suspicious Circumstances. High Street, Broom. Woman going door to door selling items from a large bag on behalf of 'Helping Hands'. (This has nothing to do with the company that operates from Alcester). Described as white, late teens, scruffy clothes, wearing a t-shirt and jeans. The women left the area with a man. The Caller was concerned that they were acting suspiciously. 4.15pm Tuesday 14th May. 0282 14/05/2019


  • *Burglary Business. Haselor. Offender have gained access to secure private land. They have then stolen a Green Buggy, a Red Quad Bike and 2 French Bulldogs. Intel from the area suggest that the offender were four white males. Overnight 16th & 17th May. 0055 17/05/2019


  • *Burglary. Binton. Person disturbed on private land stealing a Kubota All-Terrain Vehicle. 1 man was seen driving the vehicle off and three other offenders were seen in a Black Mitsubishi 4x4. The offenders went past the Blue Boar Pub towards Temple Grafton. A search of the area was made by police units and the police helicopter. The search was then extended from the Graftons towards Bidford and Cleeve Prior. The helicopter spotted and located vehicles in Cleeve Prior that were then seized by ground units. These included a Red Quad bike that may relate to the burglary in Haselor. A police patrol using the Tracker system was then able to follow and find the Kubota vehicle in Bidford. Enquiries are ongoing with regards identifying the offenders. 1.40am Friday 17th May. 0019 17/05/2019


  • *Suspicious Circumstances. Aston Cantlow. Caller reporting that the occupants of a dark black / blue Ford Mondeo (2007 / 2012 Model?) have parked up, got out and have removed the registration plates off the vehicle. They have then driven off again. The caller was concerned that they may go on to commit crime. 1pm Friday 17th May. 0195 17/05/2019


  • *Theft. High Street, Welford. Two pedal cycles stolen from the rack on rear of parked and unattended car. 1st - Black Echelon road bike, 20 gears with an extra-large frame. 2nd - Kuota Karma road / race bike, White carbon 53cm frame, 20 gears, bottle holder and Garmin cycle computer. Between 9pm and 9.45pm Monday 13th May. 0063 14/05/2019
