Men arrested following Nuneaton supermarket car robbery

Two men have been arrested by police following a robbery at a Nuneaton supermarket.

The two 20-year-olds from Birmingham have been arrested on suspicion of robbery and are currently in custody. They were detained by officers from West Midlands Police following a pursuit through Birmingham City Centre yesterday (Wednesday 15 May) afternoon.

Enquiries are ongoing in to the carjacking at Asda in Newtown Road on Tuesday (14 May) evening.

The robbers dragged the victim out of his Volkswagen Polo and stole it.
