Appeal for witnesses following robbery - Arley

Warwickshire Police is appealing for witnesses or information following a robbery in Arley on Sunday (12 May).

At around 5pm, a man in his sixties was parking a lorry on Spring Hill Business Park, Colliers Way, when two men got into the vehicle and demanded money from him.

The victim was then assaulted with what is described as a metal bar. He sustained facial injuries which required hospital treatment.

The offenders stole a bag containing clothing, and then drove off in a blue Nissan Micra with a partial registration plate of SB57.

They are described as:

  • A larger male, white, with a short stubbly beard. He was also wearing a black top with the hood up.

It's reported they were both wearing gloves and holding items, described as metal bars.

Investigating officers would like to speak to anyone who witnessed the offence. If you have any information, please call Warwickshire Police on 101, quoting incident number 262 of 12 May 2019.

Alternatively, information can be given anonymously to the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 or via their website.
