UPDATED: Bedworth death: Two men charged with murder

Two men have been charged with murder after police discovered the body of a man in Bedworth.

Officers discovered the body of the 33-year-old on Monday (6 May) afternoon after they forced entry to a house in Bulkington Road.

A post mortem confirmed the man died from a stab wound to the heart.

Scott Warner, 35, of Missing Oak Close, Bedworth, and John Robert Allison, 33, of Bulkington Road, Bedworth, have both been charged with his murder.

They will appear at Warwick Magistrates' Court today (Friday 10 May).

A 39-year-old man from Coventry, who was arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender has been released under investigation.

A 35-year-old man from Coventry was arrested on Thursday (9 May) on suspicion of assisting an offender. He has been released under investigation.

UPDATED: 09.25, 14/05/2019: Fifth arrest. A 27-year-old man from Bedworth has been arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender and is currently in police custody.
