Police investigate robbery in Nuneaton

Warwickshire Police is investigating a robbery that occurred at 8.15pm yesterday (Monday 8 April) at Jesvic Convenience Store in Camp Hill Road, Nuneaton.

Five males wearing black and a female wearing white trousers entered the store and attacked a man with a baseball bat before threatening him with a knife.

The offenders fled the scene with alcohol.

The victim, a 30-year-old man, suffered minor face injuries and did not require medical attention.

Detective Inspector Lisa Sears said: "The victim was understandably shaken by this incident. Enquiries are ongoing in the area and we are appealing for anyone who witnessed the incident or anyone with any information that could assist to contact us by calling 101 quoting incident 365 of 8 April 2019. Alternatively, call the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111."
