Boys arrested following Bedworth robberies

Four boys have been arrested following the robbery of a teenage boy in Bedworth yesterday (Thursday 4 April).

The incident, which was reported to police at 9.24pm, occurred in Mill Street, Bedworth.

A teenage boy was attacked and had his bag stolen. Police were alerted to the incident by CCTV operators.

Officers and police dogs attended the scene and the four boys were arrested following a pursuit.

The four boys from Coventry, aged 15,16, 17 and 17, were all arrested on suspicion of robbery.

The boys are also being questioned in connection with a robbery in High Street, Bedworth, at 10.25pm on Wednesday (3 April). In this incident a teenage boy was attacked and had his phone stolen.

Investigations into both incidents are ongoing.
