Appeal for witnesses following aggravated burglary - Nuneaton

Warwickshire Police is appealing for witnesses or information following an aggravated burglary in Nuneaton last night (Wednesday 3 April).

At around 11.10pm, two males broke into a house on Magyar Crescent.

They stole a quantity of cash and jewellery, before leaving the area on foot.

There were no reported injuries.

The police helicopter was in attendance to assist with the search.

The offenders are described as two white males with short dark brown hair; one of them was wearing a navy bomber jacket. It's reported one of them was holding a bladed object.
 
Detective Inspector Paul Thompson from Warwickshire Police said: "This was a frightening incident for the occupants of the property, and a number of enquiries are now ongoing to identify and locate those responsible.

"We would ask anyone who witnessed the incident or any suspicious behaviour in the area to please call us 101, quoting incident 378 of 3 April 2019."
