Man interviewed in connection with violent incident at Rugby pub

Following a witness appeal last week regarding a violent incident at the Half Moon Pub in Rugby, a suspect has been identified.

The 62-year-old man from Rugby has been voluntarily interviewed by officers in connection with the incident on the evening of 13 February.

The victim, a 56-year-old man was taken to hospital with a broken hip following the incident.

Enquiries are ongoing and anyone with information is urged to call 101 quoting incident 327 of 13 February 2019. Alternatively, information can be provided anonymously to the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
