Appeal to trace trophies stolen in Middleton burglary

Police investigating a burglary in Middleton are keen to locate 17 trophies stolen from the premises.

The trophies, along with food and wine, were stolen in a burglary which was reported to have occurred at Sutton Gun Club in Church Lane between 3pm on Thursday 7 February and 8am on Saturday 9 February.

PC Vikki Loftus said: "These trophies are of great sentimental value and we're keen to find them.

"All the trophies are engraved with 'Sutton Gun Club' so they are quite distinctive. If people are out at events such car boot sales then I'd urge them to keep an eye out for them and report anything suspicious to police.

"We'd also like to speak to anyone who can help us to identify those responsible."

Anyone with information is asked to contact Warwickshire Police on 101, quoting incident 74 of 9 February 2019.

Information can also be reported anonymously to the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
