Family pay tribute to woman who died following collision in Rugby

The family of a woman who died following a collision in Rugby at the weekend has described her as "the nicest person you could ever meet."

Margaret Adams, 60, from Rugby, died on Sunday (3 February) evening, after a car collided with her on Bilton Road.

In a statement, her family said: "Margaret was a loving mother to two sons and a sister to two brothers. She had a huge personality and was well known and liked by many in the local community. She worked as a dedicated carer and touched the lives of so many people. She was the nicest person you could ever meet and her passing has come as a great shock. She will be sadly missed by all who knew her."

Two men from Rugby arrested in connection with the incident have been released under investigation while enquiries continue.

Police are continuing to appeal for anyone with information that could help with their enquiries to call 101 quoting incident 325 of 3 February 2019. Alternatively, information can be provided anonymously to the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
