Boy arrested in Nuneaton on drug offences

A boy has been arrested on suspicion of drug offences in Nuneaton.

The 16-year-old boy from Coventry was arrested yesterday (Monday 21 January) on suspicion of possession of class A drugs with intent to supply.

He was arrested after police spotted him acting suspiciously in Weddington Terrace.

Officers seized class A drugs, believed to be heroin and crack cocaine, with a street value of around £300. They also seized cash.

The boy has been interviewed by officers and released under investigation while enquiries continue.

The arrest is part of Warwickshire Police's ongoing efforts to tackle county lines drug dealing in the county.
