Drugs arrests in Atherstone and Nuneaton

On Thursday (20 December) officers from Warwickshire Police's Offender Management Unit conducted two arrests for drugs offences.

At around 11am, detectives attended an address in Cooks Close, Atherstone where a substantial quantity of class A drugs were located.

A 21-year-old man from Birmingham was arrested on suspicion of possession of class A with intent so supply. He has been released under investigation.

At approximately 3.30pm, a vehicle was stopped on Kingswood Road, Nuneaton where a quantity of class A drugs were located.

A 30-year-old man from Nuneaton was arrested on suspicion of possession of class A with intent to supply. He has been released under investigation.
