Join Warwickshire open evenings to explore policing careers

People in Warwickshire who are interested in a career in policing will be given a helping hand next month.

Warwickshire Police is running a series of Open Evening events, with two dates set for the county.

The events will be held at the police HQ in Leek Wootton, near Warwick, on 12 December and at the BENN Hall in Rugby on 13 December. Both events run from 7.30 - 9pm.

These events will be informative and supportive, giving the opportunity to ask questions of police officers to find out about what the job is really like, while recruitment and other support teams will be available to answer process-related queries.

Alex Franklin-Smith, Assistant Chief Constable for Local Policing, said: "Offering great staff benefits and career prospects, Warwickshire Police has a strong family ethos. We pride ourselves on working closely together to get the job done, and you will be treated as a valued member of the team from day one.

"Warwickshire is increasingly diverse, and it is vital that our workforce reflects our communities, so we particularly women and people from black and minority ethnic backgrounds to attend."
