Police appeal for public help after Nuneaton robbery

Police are appealing for the public's help after a robbery at a house in Nuneaton.

Officers were called to the house in Edgedale Road yesterday (Tuesday 6 November) at 8.34pm after three males wearing balaclavas forced entry to the property and threatened the occupants with a firearm.

The offenders left with six watches and fled in a black BMW towards the Long Shoot.

Detective Sergeant Carl Buckley said: "The incident occurred at around 8.15pm. We're keen to speak to anyone who witnessed the incident or saw anyone acting suspiciously in the area. I'd also ask anyone with dash cam footage from the area at the time to check it for anything suspicious.

"The watches stolen were quite distinctive so I would urge anyone who is suspicious about being offered a watch for sale in the coming days to contact police."

If you have any information, you can call Warwickshire Police on 101 quoting incident 443 of 6 November 2018 or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
