Attempt Theft from Van, Curdworth

Police are appealing for witnesses after a Ford Transit van was broken into on Coleshill Road in Curdworth between 6.30pm on Monday 5th November and Tuesday 6th November 2018. This is the second incident which has occurred in Curdworth and it is likely the same offenders were responsible for a theft at 7.30pm on Monday 5th.

The thieves cut a hole in the bodywork of the vehicle before the owner disturbed them and they run off and got into a nearby parked car and drove off towards Kingsbury Road.

The offenders got away with a number of power tools and a Makita radio, they also caused damage to the vehicles bodywork.

Police are reminding van owners to remove all valuables from their vehicles overnight and also that they can claim their free Van Protection Pack from any Warwickshire Library or by emailing and requesting a pack is dropped off.
