New Priorities decided at Community Forum

New policing priorities have been decided at the Community forum, and as a result of the online vote.

The decided priorities are:

School Parking Patrols. To conduct high visibility patrols of all local schools in the area both in the mornings as well as the evenings and deal with a variety of motoring offences, including seatbelts, mobile phones, speeding and inappropriately parked vehicles.

Anti-Social Behaviour Patrols of the Lower Emscote Road. Carry out patrols of the Lower Emscote Road, around Bridge Street and Portobello Way in Warwick. Dealing with people acting in an anti-social manner. We will also be intelligence gathering in terms of any other illicit behaviour in the area.

Town Centre Patrols.Carry out regular Hi-Viz patrols of Warwick Town Centre to offer re-assurance to shoppers and visitors alike, as well as engaging with local business and shop-keepers.

Vehicle Crime Prevention Patrols. To carry out patrols of local car parks and residential areas to identify vehicles vulnerable to being targeted by opportunist thieves, and to offer crime prevention advice where appropriate.

Thank you for everyone that took the time to vote and/or attend the forum.
