Kenilworth Community Forum Priorities to be completed by February 2019

Issue

1. Due to a number of reported incidents at Kenilworth parks, recreational areas and open spaces, there is concern from members of the public.

2. Parents/carers and local residents near to Kenilworth School, Leyes Lane have raised concern in relation to student safety when going to/from school. Concerns raised are in relation to road safety and road related offences during school drop-off/collection times.

3. There is concern from members of the public due to incidents including shoplifting, theft and ASB within the town centre.

Suggestion

1. Anti-Social Behaviour Patrols - Parks, Recreational Areas and Open Spaces in Kenilworth: to prevent/deal with anti-social behaviour and to provide reassurance to members of the local community conduct a minimum of 15 dedicated patrols. 

2. School Safety Patrols - Kenilworth School, Leyes Lane, Kenilworth: to promote student safety when going to/from school conduct a minimum of 15 dedicated patrols; including the prevention/detection of road related issues during school drop-off and collection times.

3. Crime Reduction Patrols - Kenilworth Town Centre: to prevent/deal with incidents of theft and anti-social behaviour, and to provide reassurance to businesses/members of the public conduct a minimum of 15 dedicated patrols.

Action

Kenilworth Safer Neighbourhood Team will provide updates on a regular basis for the duration of these priority tasks.
