The burglary occurred at a business in Fair View Industrial Estate at 11.12pm last night (Monday 6 August).

The offenders rammed the building in a white van (registration GL64 WSD) to gain entry and stole four bikes.

A security guard was assaulted as the offenders fled the scene. He suffered minor head injuries.

Police have issued photos of three of the bikes stolen. The fourth stolen bike was a custom made carbon fibre bike.

Police Staff Investigator Adrian Clark said: "The bikes stolen are very distinctive so we would like people to keep an eye out for them. If you spot them or see them for sale please contact police."

Anyone with information that could help police with their investigation can call 101 and quote incident 505 of 6 August 2018. Alternatively, information can be provided anonymously to the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
