Drugs seized as man arrested in Nuneaton raid

A man was arrested after a drugs raid at a house in Nuneaton this morning.


A team of officers entered through the window of a house on Cedar Road where they seized what are believed to be class A drugs with an estimated street value of £400 and cannabis with an estimated street value of more than £3000.

The 23-year-old from Nuneaton was arrested on suspicion of possession of drugs.

Officers believe the drugs were due to be sold.

"There will be no safe place for drug dealers in Nuneaton as we continue to respond to local community concerns regarding drug crime and associated violent crime and anti-social behaviour," said PC Callum Howell from the North Nuneaton and Bedworth Safer Neighbourhood Team.
