Cannabis worth £3000 seized in Nuneaton

Cannabis with a street value of more than £3000 has been recovered during a drug search warrant in Nuneaton.

Officers attended a property in Bermuda Road last week where they seized the drugs.

Inspector Dave Williams said: "A significant quantity of a controlled drug was recovered before it could be sold. Our intelligence suggests the cannabis was due to be turned into oil and sold at festivals.

"I would like to thank the public who provided information that allowed us to take this warrant out.

"Concerns about drugs and drug supply will always be taken seriously. Please continue to provide us with information by calling 101 or contacting the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111."
