Appeal for witnesses following racially aggravated common assault - Stratford

Warwickshire Police is appealing for witnesses or information following a racially aggravated common assault in Stratford on Saturday morning (21 July).

Between 9.45am and 10.45am, a woman in her forties was assaulted by the cashpoint outside Boots at the Maybird Centre.

It's reported she was grabbed and pushed. No weapons were used and the victim did not require hospital treatment.

The suspect is described as a woman in her eighties, who had white hair and was wearing a pink top and light-coloured trousers.

Investigating officers would like to speak to anyone with any information on the incident, including a man who is believed to have witnessed it. If you have any information, please call Warwickshire Police on 101 quoting incident number 143 of 21 July 2018.
