Eight charged with drugs offences

Officers investigating the supply of drugs in Leamington and Warwick have charged eight people with conspiracy to supply crack cocaine and heroin.

Rebecca Mannix, 45, of Buckley Road, Leamington, a 30-year-old man from Birmingham, a 19-year-old man from Birmingham, a 19-year-old man from Warwick, a 20-year-old man from Leamington Spa and a 17-year-old boy from Warwick were all arrested and charged earlier this week following a series of warrants in Warwickshire and the West Midlands.

They have all appeared at Warwick Magistrates Court and will next appear at Warwick Crown Court on 26 July.

Also charged with the same offence were Deborah Walsh, 46, of Lower Avenue, Leamington Spa, and Michael Hobday, 19, of Wedgenock Green, Warwick. They will appear at Warwick Magistrates Court on 9 July.
