Appeal for witnesses following robbery - Nuneaton

Warwickshire Police is appealing for witnesses or information following a robbery in Nuneaton in the early hours of Saturday morning (9 June).

At approximately 2am, a 25-year-old man was using a cash machine at Central Avenue Service Station when he was approached by two people on a motorbike. It's reported that one of them was holding a bladed object.

The victim was ordered to hand over his money and the offenders left the scene. The victim was not injured.

At approximately 2.40am, a 27-year-old woman from Nuneaton was arrested near to Orchard Street, Bedworth, on suspicion of robbery. At around 4.15pm on the same day, a 29-year-old man from Nuneaton was also arrested on suspicion of robbery. Both have been released under investigation.

Detective Sergeant Carl Buckley from Nuneaton police station said: "A thorough investigation has been launched we are appealing to anyone who was in the Central Avenue area at the time of the offence and may have witnessed anything to please come forward.

"If you have any information, please call Warwickshire Police on 101, quoting incident number 46 of 9 June 2018."
