Men plead guilty following Stratford shooting

Two men have admitted their involvement in the shooting of a man at a house in Stratford last year.

The 17-year-old victim was shot in the leg following a dispute at a property on Brookside Road, Stratford, on 4 December 2017.

Abdi Ali, 19, of St. Peter's Road, Leicester, was arrested two days later in Bristol. He pleaded guilty to causing grievous bodily harm and possession of a shotgun with intent to endanger life.

An 18-year-old man from Birmingham was arrested on 13 December. He also pleaded guilty to causing grievous bodily harm and possession of a shotgun with intent to endanger life.

The two will be sentenced at Warwick Crown Court on 2 July 2017.
